Samsung Will Display New R5, R3 and R1 Wireless Audio 360 Speakers at IFA 2015

The South Korean technology giant, Samsung Electronics, has announced its three new additions to its Wireless Audio 360 speaker range. This new range includes the R5, R3 and R1 models which are going to be showcased at the IFA 2015.

These Omni-directional speakers will basically feature a new built-in tap and swipe user interface and even an improved Multiroom app for customer’s smartphones, smartwatches and tablets.

These three new models will follow the renowned and widely praised R7 and R6 speakers in Samsung’s Wireless Audio 360 lineup. These new additions will also be offering the same high-quality, premium design and a balanced sound.

Jurack Chae, Senior Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics stated that with these three new models the company will be bringing a new kind of high quality sound to the market with a design that is going to be simple but premium offering a more intuitive users interface.

He also stated that these new models will help the company to hold its position as a world leader in home audio.

The R7 and R6 were praised by the consumers and the media alike when they had come out, praising the speakers for their crisp and clear sound. Moreover due to the proprietary ring radiator technology the speakers easily fill any room. This same technology has also been kept alive with the R5, R3 and R1 models.

Apart from that these three models will also be featuring a new physical control options for a hassle-free and intuitive user experience. Users will now be able to change the volume, pause, play or select a different music source all with a touch, swipe or tap on top of the speaker.

These new models by Samsung will also be able to connect with the updated Multiroom App for Android and iOS smartphones and tablets which make it possible to seamlessly share music across Wi-Fi connected devices throughout the home.
