Last year, at IFA 2014, we witnessed the release of the Galaxy Note 4 along with the Galaxy Note Edge. The Galaxy Note edge was released in very limited markets, in a very limited quantity. This was due to high production cost of the curved edge display on the Note edge.
Recently, it was rumored that Samsung will be releasing the Galaxy Note 5 at IFA 2015, which will be held in September. However, it has been proclaimed that Samsung will not be releasing a Edge variant of the Galaxy Note 5, this year. The reason to this is still unknown, as Samsung has not officially announced the Galaxy Note 5.
The Galaxy Note 5 is expected to feature a 5.89-inch display at a resolution of 2560 x 1440, and powered by an Exynos Processor. The Galaxy Note 5 will measure only 7.9mm in thickness.
