Samsung developer conference is underway and the Korean giant has announced a ton of tech that will become a part of our lives soon. But C labs, Samsung futuristic tech division has also announced 4 products that look like the tech of tomorrow. Let take a look at them

1) LiCon

With the increasing number of connected device, many individual apps to control them come into use. LiCon aims to eliminate all those apps and want to become a single app to rule them all. it utilizes the camera on the smartphone to detect the IoT device in use and switches its interface so that it can control the devices such as music system or the thermostat.

2) Ahead

Helmets are used in various real life scenarios such as on a construction site and while driving. These safety devices help in protecting your life but can also make a simple task of talking on a phone a herculean task. Ahead is a small rectangular device that attaches itself to the back of the helmet with the help of super strong magnets and utilizes oscillators to create a surround sound effect without blocking out background noise thus letting you hear music and answer important phone calls.

3) AMe

Well, this one is weird. AMe is a necklace that functions as a life-logging device. the specialty is that the recorded video is in 360 degrees. AMe is the abbreviation of “Around Me” and will function while hanging around your neck. The first person perspective photos and videos can also be recorded in 4K resolution. Three cameras record the footage separately and then are stitched together to form 360-degree content.

4) ItsyWatch

Most kid’s devices on the market are designed for safety and contribute to parent’s peace of mind but they seldom make a kid interested in the activity.

ItsyWatch Is a smartwatch app that allows the kids to have fun all the while inculcating new habits into their subconscious mind.

“ItsyWatch is bringing something new to the table. This gamified smartwatch app (the prototype utilizes Samsung’s Tizen-powered Gear S2 smartwatch) displays adorable cartoon characters that add fun to everyday activities, such as exercising, eating and brushing one’s teeth.” Samsung says.

The cartoon character grows as the kid indulges in the pre-scheduled activity and will continue to do so to make the character evolve to the highest possible stage by perfecting the habit.
