Ever since Apple bought the beats brand, it has been offering many earphones and headphones under the brand to cater the needs of all users. Samsung seems to be following the same mantra. It has upped the ante with its Level range of audio offerings. The latest one is the Level On Pro which is similar to the Beats Solo 2 Wireless and Sony’s expensive wireless noise cancelling headphone, The Sony MDR-ZX770BT.

The $249 Level On Pro is a wireless headphone that also features active noise cancellation and upscaling of audio for an enhanced experience. In some areas, these headphones are better than the beats counterpart but the level branding simply cannot match that of beats and hence, more number of Beats Solo 2 wireless are sold despite being an inferior product.

Level On Pro’s best feature apart its audio quality is the fit. It isn’t as large as over ear headphones but sits on the ear comfortably and covers the ear so that no sound escapes.

The build quality is nice and can simply be tossed it into a backpack without any worry. Being a wireless headphone, the battery life is very important and Samsung has fitted the device with a large battery that can power the Level On Pro for 20 straight hours without the noise cancellation and 10 hours with it.

The on-device controls are nice and you should not have a hard time skipping the track. The colours available are black and gold which I think is prettier of the both. Samsung promised a wider frequency range for audio media but that applies only when used with a compatible Samsung phone.

Overall, the Level On Pro offers a nice mix of features, price, comfortable fit and audio experience that few others can offer.
