After the grand success of the Samsung’s flagship smartphones – The Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, it’s that time of the year when Samsung has to offer something for the budget-conscious market. The Korean smartphone and tablet manufacturer is establishing a hold in the Indian market.
Recently, Samsung has announced that it will be introducing two low-end tablet devices – The Galaxy Tab A and the Galaxy Tab E, exclusive to the Indian market. The Galaxy Tab A was released worldwide in May, 2015, while the Galaxy Tab E is still in the development phases. We have been reported that Samsung will be launching both of these devices in Indian market, this month.
According to the marketing director of Samsung, Samsung has to offer more and more devices with 4G LTE connectivity as it is the latest cellular technology, which is prevailing in most of the developed countries around the World. Samsung is also planning to release further devices with 4G LTE connectivity, later this year, targeting the low-end market.
According to Asim Warsi, the vice president of marketing for IT and Mobile at Samsung India, Samsung has to offer more low-budget devices in India as almost 62% of the sales come from devices, which are in the price range of Rs.10,000 to Rs.20,000.
The Galaxy Tab A and the Galaxy Tab E are budgetary tablets. The Galaxy Tab A features an 8-inch screen along with 4G LTE connectivity. The Galaxy Tab E is a 9.6-inch tablet enabled with 3G. The Galaxy Tab A will be available at a price of Rs.20,500 and the Galaxy Tab E will be priced at Rs.16,900.
