There is no denying that the note 5 and the galaxy s6 edge+ are the 2 most important devices on the market shelves that are beautifully crafted with powerful internals. They are some tempting devices but what can be more tempting than gold?
Why not fuse both of them together? The same thought occurred to the Vietnamese gold-plating company Karalux. They have reconstructed the two new devices using their custom gold plating process. The final price of the gold plated phone will be around 1110 usd. That is not very expensive compared to the 10,000 usd Apple Watch Edition. But the statement it make is priceless.
The custom process involves the disassembly of the note 5 and dipping the shell in 24k liquid gold and reconstructing the device. That requires loads of experience, craftsmanship and extreme precision. The company has also stated that the process of construction a note 5 is actually easier process that constructing a galaxy s6 or s6 edge.
The only drawback is that the company doesn’t allow you to have your phone gold plated. It buys its own device and gold plated them before selling it.
