The bad news is that there is no specific date when Samsung will launch Galaxy Note 7 in India. Samsung recalled all Galaxy Note 7 from the market after several instances of exploding batteries. Those who have pre-booked the phone will now have to wait longer than expected.
But, the good news is that Samsung will offer a free Gear VR for all your trouble.
“In response to recent cases reported globally of the new Galaxy Note 7, we conducted a thorough investigation and found a battery cell issue. Since our customers’ safety is an absolute priority, we have delayed the sales of the Galaxy Note 7 in India,” said the post on Samsung’s website.
Along with a free Gear VR, you will also get a Oculus content voucher worth Rs 3,300.
Samsung will start shipping these Gear VRs soon and you do not need to pay a dime.
Also, if you do not want to wait any longer, you can contact Samsung online portal and they will help you to get a refund.
