Samsung released its first phablet with curved edge display in September, last year, named as Galaxy Note Edge.

The Galaxy Note Edge was released in very limited markets, and is a very rare device. The device was released with KitKat OS, 4.4.4, initially.

In April this year, The Lollipop 5.0 update was released for Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge by all carriers, except Verizon.

The Galaxy Note Edge users on Verizon have been waiting for the Lollipop update ever since.

However, recently, we have been reported that the Galaxy Note Edge users on Verizon have started receiving the Android Lollipop, 5.0 update.

Verizon has started to roll out the Android 5.0 update for the Galaxy Note Edge, and the devices are being updated to the software version LRX22C.N915VVRU2BOF2.

The lollipop update comes with an enhanced user interface, to provide users with an improved user experience.

The update might take a while to go live all over the United States. If you are a Galaxy Note Edge owner on Verizon, then you are likely to receive the updates over the coming days.
