Samsung has made it possible by using a low-quality camera sensor. The Galaxy A8 features an ISOCELL camera sensor that offers a reduced pixel size of 1.0µm as compared to the sensors featured in Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy S6.
This makes the camera sensor almost 23% thinner than the camera sensor in the Note 4, and S6.
The camera of the Galaxy A8 will be producing substandard image results, comparatively. However, the Galaxy A8 is likely to make up for that in terms of price, and thickness.
