Right after the release of the Galaxy A7 in February, Samsung registered the trademarks for Galaxy A6, Galaxy A8, and Galaxy A9 in March, as we reported earlier. Thus, it was confirmed that Samsung will be releasing these phones in the fourth quarter of 2015.
Lately, the Galaxy A8 has been showing clear symptoms of nearing a launch date. It has passed the certification from TENAA. Moreover, it has also passed through FCC, which clearly shows that it will be launched very soon, in the upcoming weeks.
Earlier, we have seen numerous leaked pictures of the Galaxy A8. However, lately, the Galaxy A8 has showed up in a leaked hands-on video. Reportedly, the video has been recorded by a TENAA official, which was uploaded to the French website nowhereelse.fr, afterwards. Thus, it has been confirmed that the Galaxy A8 has gone through development phase, and will soon hit the market, after the testing phase.
The Galaxy A8 will also be crowned as the slimmest Galaxy smartphone, as of yet, at a thickness of 5.9mm. Additionally, it will be featuring a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display at Full HD resolution. It is expected that the Galaxy A8 will be released in the fourth quarter of this year.
