It no secret that Samsung mocks Apple in every possible way. It even devises its own ideas to make Apple fanboys feel terrible such as the wall hugger tag. Most people think that Samsung is mocking Apple because it cannot match the Cupertino giant in sales or innovation and simply wants to stay relevant in the tech world by mocking another company.

But an executive from Samsung feels different. He went on to say that Samsung actively mocks Apple because it is the right thing to do.

During the Cannes Ad Festival, top Samsung executive, younghee lee said these words in an interview to the Adweek.

The united states is really Apple’s stronghold with a strong fan following and terrific sales figures. But Samsung over the past 2 years has been able to make a dent in Apple’s armour with phones such as the Note 5 and S7 edge. The growing sales for Samsung is a proof of that.

It was reported that Samsung has managed to sell as many as 25 million units of the S7 edge and the regular S7 within the first 3 months of their availability. A top sales analyst company has declared that Samsung has retained the crown as the top Asian brand for the 5th consecutive year indicating the growing confidence in the brand over the years.

But the future is far diverse for both the companies. Samsung is betting big on the virtual reality world whereas Apple is more focused on making an electric car that wouldn’t damage the environment.
