We All have been teenagers once upon a time. But it is when you become an adult or live alone that you realize that if you do not do your house chores, everything becomes dirty and there won’t be food in the fridge. The cloth won’t magically wash themselves or the table won’t dust itself. It was actually your mom or dad who used to do these things.
Teenagers are lazy, Dead lazy. but Samsung has a way to lure them out into the open and force them to do their dirty laundry. The program is called as “Samsung LANdry.” It is a setup that allows the players to play games if they do their wash their cloth themselves. This program has been set up in Sweden and aims to teach the teenagers some responsibility that will be very useful in the professional world.
“Teens spend less time on housework now than ever. We set up a unique laundromat, featuring the Galaxy S7 and Add Wash washing machine, to see if we could make teenagers look at chores in a new way,” said Samsung.
The whole idea revolves around the credits that you receive when you wash your own clothes. You can use these credits to play games or music on the smart cafe that is in the laundromat itself.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the kids start to do the dirty laundry of even their parents just to play the new game in the smart cafe.
What does Samsung get out of this? First, it will earn the goodwill of the parents and second, it has the opportunity to showcase its latest products such as smartphones, washing machines, curved gaming monitors and top of the line headsets to the teenagers who might get attached to the brands thus leading to increase sales in the future.
