Samsung just can’t let go of the Note 7 series… Now they are considering to start selling refurbished Note 7 devices according to the South Korean outlet The Investor.

If true, the idea for this is Samsung to sell these in mostly emerging markets like Indie and Vietnam. “Samsung has not made a final decision yet, but it will likely sell the refurbished Note 7 units next year,”

Since the last and final recall and discontinuation of the device, Samsung have been trying to identify what made the Note 7 to spontaneously combust. According to reports, Samsung decided to test the hazardous Note 7 series in-house. This choice proved fatal for the handset. To give a comparison, almost every company uses a third-party manufacturer to run safety diagnostics.

If you consider it, this seems unlikely that the company will be willing to risk blowing the Note 7 release a second time. But who knows, anything can happen at this point.
