Judging from Samsung’s past adventures we can easily state that the South Korean technology giant wants to expand its audio business and so the company has sought the help of veteran loudspeaker designer Allan Devantier from Harman International.
The veteran has basically helped Samsung to set up an audio laboratory in Santa Clarita, California. He took this step as he thinks that the South Korean company needs to get closer to Hollywood if they want their audio business to be taken seriously by everyone.
Apart from this Samsung has a very successful and thriving TV business which is a plus point as it can help give its new audio ideas a platform to start off with.
Allan Devantier stated that everyone will see his company’s fingerprint on more and more Samsung products over the coming years. This he stated would hopefully translate into good reputation for sound.
