Samsung last week introduced its latest new thing - the all new Galaxy Z1. It’s the first of its kind phone. It’s the only one to this date to be powered by Samsung’s personally developed Tizen OS. This OS, which Samsung has developed on the base of the Android OS, has a look just same as that of Touch Wiz interface that is present on all of Samsun’s phones right now.

Samsung has been reliant on Google fully for making its phones run. But Samsung wants to avoid this now because it doesn’t want another company’s software to run on phones developed by them.

So Samsung made Tizen and gave it to people in the Z1. But soon after the release, Samsung realized that its new phone wasn’t up to the expectations of the users. So first of all, Samsung, in an attempt to make the phone better, rolled out two firmware updates in a single week after release. After that, according to the latest news, it’s being said now Samsung is also offering 48 GB of free cloud storage on DropBox to the users of Z1. This is another publicity campaign to attract new customers. Let’s wait and see what happens with the Z1 in future.
