Most of the companies producing Android handsets have been creating their own customized versions. These versions have the modified user interfaces and functionalities that the user can utilize. Although the specially developed ROM’s are well designed, yet most of the people don’t like them. The main reason behind this is that they don’t allow the user to take full control of their devices and as everyone knows that Android is all about customization so Android users love ditching the original ROM’s for the custom built ROM’s.
There is a huge number of custom ROM’s available for almost every Android powered smartphone. These custom ROM’s are developed by different developers who one could say even though have no links to the smartphone companies, yet they create some amazing ROMS.
Most of the Samsung users hate its Touch Wiz interface. So they are the first ones to opt for custom ROM’s. The first choice for all these ROM seekers is Cyanogen Mod - the ROM that one could say gives the biggest possible customization capabilities to the user. The latest release of the Cyanogen Mod is for the Galaxy Note 4 which is operating on T-Mobile and Sprint. The mod will surely be a hit and let’s wait and see what user experience it gives.
