Samsung launched a new budget Android phone Galaxy Core Max in Chinese market. As this is a only for Chinese market right now, we do not see it coming to other market soon. The phone carries a model number SM-G5108.
Samsung Galaxy Core Max Specs
Samsung Galaxy Core Max has very modest hardware specification. The phone features a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU, a gig of RAM, and 8GB of built-in, expandable memory. The display is a 4.8” Super AMOLED unit with qHD resolution (960 x 540 pixels) and a 2,200mAh battery.
The good features in the new Galaxy phone is the camera. The main camera is 8 megapixel and the front camera is 5 megapixel. It looks like Samsung is targeting this phone for selfie generation.
On connectivity front the phone support dual-SIM. As this is for the Chinese market, Galaxy Core Max will have TD-LTE standard but there is a catch. Only one SIM supports TD-LTE / LTE-FDD / TD-SCDMA / WCDMA / GSM standard and the other one supports only GSM standard.
Samsung Galaxy Max has a dimension of 136.3 x 69.6 x 8 mm and weighs 132 grams. Do not expect any metallic body here, the phone is all plastic
