Galaxy S8 will have 2K display and no home button

The most anticipated phone from Samsung, the Galaxy S8 might come without home button and with 2k display.

For its next flagship smartphone, Samsung will now switch to 4k display and will stick with a 2k one. This is reasonable and understandable since there is no point of cramming so much pixels on such small device. It drains battery, and needs more performance to run it properly. Beside of the display, some say that the suppliers have not received components for the home button. It is possible that the phone will come without one and betters the chances that we see a full face display or even no bezels.

Earlier it was reported that the Galaxy S8 might be a bezel-less phone with edge-to-edge OLED display. Samsung already had showed the public rendered images of a Galaxy S7 Edge without a home button, and this month they announced that all sensors, such as the fingerprint scanner will be built under the display.

Maybe it will be the bezel-less phone that everyone wants! We shall see.
