Just when you thought you can get a phone that folds in your pocket…
It was expected that Samsung will launch its foldable phone next year, but now it seems not so close. Apparently, the tech giant is already capable of producing such a device, but the company is actually being cautious.
Even if it comes, it will be even more limited than the unusual curved Galaxy Round. Maybe it will be a phone for collections.
Considering how Samsung was head on and inspired the dream of a foldable phone couple years ago, now it is ironic when you know that they are not sure about the product. This whole dream started with the flexible displays which are on the market now. But on the other hand, there is the question of the demand for such a device. Maybe Samsung is right about all this.
However, if they decide to go ahead and release such a device, the first product might actually be a foldable tabled instead of a smartphone.
