The rumors for the 2 variants of the upcoming Galaxy S8 are everywhere!
This is based on a relatively new rumor, leaked from Evan Blass, that suggests that Samsung will make a bigger variant of the Galaxy S8 with a whopping 6.2-inch display. This will be to appeal to the Note costumers and apparently will be called Galaxy S8 Plus.
In his recent tweet, Blass revealed two model numbers that are from the upcoming Galaxy S8. According to him, they will ship as SM-G950 and SM-G955. If this is true, then Samsung indeed will skip the SM-G94x model numbers. For the previous versions, this would mean that the one is flat and the other curved model. But rumors have claimed that Samsung will ditch the flat screen option for the Galaxy S8.
On the end of his tweet, he also said “Know what else is in the works? SM-N950.” This model number series has been used by Galaxy Note devices in the past, so maybe this is the new Note8.
For some time, there were thoughts that Samsung is done with the Note series, but recently they confirmed that there would be a Note8. It is too early to start sniffing specs or anything about the Note 8 but at least Blass has somewhat proven that at least it’s in the process of making.
