Report: Note 7 To Launch On August 2nd

Samsung-Galaxy-Note-7-Edge-August-2-Announcement-SamMobile-720x405We all know that various teams of engineers are hard at work in their offices at Samsung’s mobile headquarter for the Note 7. We now have concrete information that the next phablet from Samsung will  most likely be launched on august 2nd.

Unlike earlier reports that could well be made up information from innovative reporters, this bit of information comes straight from Samsung. The image was leaked by an insider shows that shows the number 7 with fine curved lines.

We believe that Samsung is skipping the Note 6 name entirely to make the phablet series in sync with the S-series of its flagship phones. That makes sense as the lesser series number in the note series indicate a certain lag in the series whereas the note phones were technically superior to the S-series phones.

The next Galaxy unpacked event is scheduled at the Alice Tully Hall at the Lincoln Center In New York.

The words “The next edge is just around the corner” are seen in the invite.

The invitation also hints that the Note 7 phone could end up having an edge variant similar to the S7 edge but with the added capabilities of the S-pen and advance productive features.

The phone is also speculated to come with an iris scanner that adds an extra bit of security layer on an already secure phone platform. As usual, the phone will house top specs like snapdragon 823 SoC, 6GB of RAM. 32 GB of expandable memory and a high-end version with 256 GB of internal memory.

There will also be an advance productive feature like the blackberry hub that integrates messages, texts, and notifications all in one place.
