November security patch for Galaxy A5

Today, Samsung released the November’s security patch for the Galaxy A5. Currently this update is available in the Netherlands. Over the course of the week, it is expected to cover other regions as well. Predictions are that next stop is Germany, followed by Poland.

According to the change log, the November update is actually one bundle of multiple patches for vulnerabilities and exposures in the Android System. The firmware also fixes 14 specific bugs on the mobile device.

Make sure to check for software updates these days, or if you want a manual install you can head into Settings > About Device > Download Updates Manually. This update is under version XXU3BPK1.
