A few days ago, it was reported in many different articles that Samsung is planning to acquire BlackBerry and there are talks going on about a deal to buyout BlackBerry for a whooping sum of $7.5 Billion. Well, the story was all a hoax that and was thrashed by both Samsung and BlackBerry.
The hoax originated from a partnership that Samsung and BlackBerry are planning to go forward with. According to news, Samsung is planning to borrow technology from BlackBerry to help make its devices and software’s more secure. Samsung is planning to use BlackBerry security for its business and security users and provide them with services same as those provided by BlackBerry.
Samsung already is using BlackBerry servers to host its Knox services. To clear out the air, executives from both Samsung and BlackBerry earlier gave out separate statements that they are working as business partners and sharing technology and there is no chance of a takeover by Samsung no matter what.
