Well its Samsung that has been continuously accused of studying and copying Apple even though Samsung’s Galaxy S3 won Android consumers worldwide to the company’s popular smartphone.

Samsung was accused because it did examine Apple lines and its launch days to see what created the hype surrounding Apple’s products. Samsung even took to its own YouTube channel to post a commercial or two surrounding Apple’s product launches.

However it seems that from now on Samsung will not do such things. When Samsung was asked about its impression of the Apple Watch pre-order launch in an interview the VP for Mobile Europe spokesman, Rory O’Neill responded by stating that there are numerous brands in the industry such as Apple, Amazon, Google, Facebook, Microsoft and many others who spend millions of dollars to invent new products for the consumers.

He also stated that this is great for the consumers that they have got all these great brands. When he was asked about what the Apple Watch means for the smartwatch market he stated that his company is delighted that Apple has followed them into this market showing everyone that Samsung is not the only one who follows.

“We’re delighted that Apple’s followed us into this market,” said Samsung VP for Mobile Europe spokesman Rory O’Neill.

Samsung is the pioneer of smartwatches and has been developing it since 1999. The world’s first watch that could make phone calls was Samsung’s own SPH-WP10 which was launched in 1999.

The watch provided the users with a 90 minute talk time. Now the recently launched Gear S in 2014 shows Samsung’s commitment and development into this market.
