Great news for all who were waiting to install custom ROMs on their brand new Galaxy S6. It looks like they do not need to wait much longer now.
TWRP – or Team Win Recovery Project, which provides custom recovery for various Android devices, released a new build. The new version supports Galaxy S6, but the team tested this only on T-Mobile variant at this moment. If you have a Galaxy S6 with unlocked bootloader this will definitely work. So, At&T and Varizon users, TWRP still won’t work for you devices.
If you want to try the TWRP custom recovery, make sure you backed up all the data from your phone. Also, it is advisable to backup the default recovery before trying to install TWRP.
As for the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, the software for that specific variant is very similar to the Samsung Galaxy S6, so it’s quite possible that this version will work there. But that is not guaranteed by TWRP.
If you want to go ahead and try this custom recovery, download the software you need via the source link below.
