Samsung is adding a new smartphone to its Galaxy A series of affordable lineup. The new Galaxy A8 will feature some of the premium features on a mid-range smartphone.
Sammobile reports that Samsung Galaxy A8, which carries the model number SM-A800F will have a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED full HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, 3050 mAh battery and Android 5.0 Lollipop. In addition, the smartphone will pack 2GB of RAM, 16GB of on-board storage, 4G LTE support, 16MP rear camera and 5MP front shooter.
Also, you will be amazed to hear that Samsung Galaxy A8 will measure just 5.9 mm in thickness, which is even thinner than the Galaxy A7 which is 6.3 mm thick. When it will be released the phone will be the thinnest smartphone Samsung has ever released. It is also good to know that Galaxy A8 will have all metallic body.
If samsung will keep the price affordable as it did with other Galaxy A series of devices, this will be a great device for phablet lovers. But it is rumored that Samsung is targeting Galaxy A8 just for the Chinese market.
