Samsung Electronics won many awards for its Portable SSD T1 which is basically a 32 layer 3D V-NAND external storage solution that is very secure, stylish and safe. Apart from that it has a very compact design that makes it very easy to carry.
The Portable SSD T1 was introduced by Samsung in January 2015 and since then this device has earned many numerous awards including the CES Innovation Awards.
CES is an annual competition that honors outstanding design and engineering in consumer technology products.
Apart from the CES Award, the Portable SSD T1 has also helped Samsung to win the iF Design Award which is a global summit that is focused on recognizing design in products that are easy to understand. Then Samsung also won the RED Dot Award in Germany.
With the Portable SSD T1’s design Samsung delivers a new platform for design by using ultra-light weight and durable materials as well as advanced SSD technology.
The one terabyte SSD weighs less than 30 grams and its sleek premium design is just amazing.
Now coming to the T1’s internal qualities, the drives internal design helps bring increased data processing speeds of IT products to the level of internal SSD and maximizes the user experience for a diversity of consumer electronics devices.
Apart from this the new SSD storage chip also has sequential read and write speeds of up to 450MBps with a USB 3.0 super speed interface. The device is also capable of a 21000 IOPS for random read and writes speed.
