We have seen this rumoured device in previous leaks and certifications from TENAA. It was indicated that the phone will have the name “Galaxy Golden 3” but Samsung chose to name it W2016 instead.

As far as the specs are concerned, the Samsung W2016 comes with dual 3.9-inch 1,280×768 Super AMOLED touchscreens. A 5 MP camera is provided for video calls and selfies and a 16 MP snapper with LED flash in the back. The processor powering the device is the Exynos 7420, the same one found in the Galaxy S6 family. 64 GB of internal memory and 3 GB of RAM is provided in the phone. Similar to its other high-end devices, the phone features a metal and glass body that is very catchy and come in gold as well as space grey colours.

The handset measures at 15.1 mm in thickness and 204g in weight. Samsung priced the device at a staggering CNY 9,999, which is $1,565 or €1,470 at the current exchange rates.
