Just a few months ago Samsung had filed for the Galaxy Tab A, Galaxy Tab E and the Galaxy Tab J. Now recent leaks have shown that the South Korean company is gearing up to launch the Galaxy Tab E. recently more information has surfaced online today regarding this new Samsung tablet. The tablet will have two variants, one is Wi-Fi only and the other is Wi-Fi + 3G.
Apart from this the latest leak also suggests that the Galaxy Tab E 9.6 will be having a 9.6 inch display with 800×1289 pixel resolution with a 4:3 aspect ratio.
Moreover the tablet may be powered by a Spreadtrum SC7730SE SoC which features a 1.3 GHz processor that is coupled with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage.
Plus the tablet will only be 8.5mm thick and will be equipped with a 5MP rear and 2MP front camera along with a 5000mAh battery under its hood.
However one disappointing fact of the new tablet is that it will not be running the Android 5.0 Lollipop, instead it will be running Android 4.4 KitKat and will also have a kids Mode pre-installed. Apart from this the tablet will only be sold in Eastern Europe and Asia initially.
