Samsung’s superphone from 2014, the Note 4, is now available for a stagger low price of $300 and that’s for an unlocked model. This deal is for a very limited period of time and is available in the united states on eBay. For comparison, Amazon is selling the phone for $350 and Newegg has it for $365. The available colours are white and black.
I own a Note 4 white edition and absolutely love it. It was one the first phone from Samsung that had metal in them. but the phone itself is not entirely made out of metal. The back still featured the infamous faux leather and the chassis was of aluminium. This enabled Samsung to make the battery removable and even had a slot for expandable storage.
Though the phone is 2 years old, it still has a Quad HD display, a powerful processor and an excellent camera. All these make the Note 4 a great phone even in today’s era. The phone originally came with the Android KitKat but Samsung has recently updated it to Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 and with this upgrade, it gained much of the abilities of the Note 5.
One of my personal favourites is the offline memo feature that allows a user to take notes on the screen while the phone is in a locked state. Some of the other S-pen features from the Note 5 transited to the Note 4 making the phone feel like new.
If you are looking for a capable phone that is also great, I suggest the Note 4 but if you aren’t that much into productivity or the S-pen, then the Nexus 5X would be a better buy.
