Apart from the new Galaxy A7, Samsung has decided to introduce three new smartphones in India. The Korean company has announced the Galaxy J1 4G, Galaxy Core Prime 4G and the Galaxy Prime 4G for India. All three of these handsets look alike although they have different specifications.
The Samsung Galaxy J1 4G is going to come with a 4.3 inch (800×480 Pixels) display along with a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. The smartphone will have 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128 GB as it comes along with a micro SD card slot.
The smartphone will also have a 768MB RAM and the OS that Samsung has selected is Android 4.4 KitKat. The Galaxy J1 4G comes along with a 5MP auto focus rear camera with a LED Flash to its support. Users will also be able to take selfies as the front facing camera is going to be a 2MP camera.
The smartphone provides the option of Dual SIM, a FM Radio with RDS and weighs only 122 grams. The 8.9mm thick smartphone also takes care of nearly all the connectivity options such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and GPS. The smartphone will also have an 1850mAh battery under its hood and is available in Blue, White and Black colors.
Coming to the second smartphone the Galaxy Core Prime 4G, it supports a 4.5 inch (800×480 Pixels) display along with a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. Unlike the Galaxy J1 4G, the Core Prime 4G has been equipped with a 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB with a micro SD card. This smartphone will also be run by Android 4.4 KitKat.
The camera options are the same as were for the Galaxy J1 4G and is also Dual SIM. However this smartphone weighs 130 grams and is 8.8mm thick. The Galaxy Core Prime 4G also comes with a FM Radio with RDS and 3.5mm audio jack. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS + GLONASS. It also supports a bigger battery than the Galaxy J1 4G and is available in White, Charcoal Grey and Silver colors.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime 4G has much better specifications when compared to its other two partners. This smartphone has a 5 inch QHD (960×540 Pixels) capacitive touch screen display. It also supports a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor. The memory options however are the same as the Galaxy Core Prime 4G along with the OS that is Android 4.4 KitKat. The camera options are better which includes an 8MP auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and 1080p video recording option.
It also has a 5MP front-facing camera for taking selfies. Moreover this model weighs much more than the other two, around 156 grams and is Dual SIM too. The connectivity options available for this smartphone are the same as the Galaxy Core Prime 4G. However users will be quite happy that a much larger batter (2600mAh) will be under the hood. This model will be available only in White and Grey colors.
