According to a recent report, the Galaxy J7 and the Galaxy J5 are not rumors anymore. The Galaxy J5 and the Galaxy J7 have been officially announced by Samsung China. Samsung China has also announced that these phones will go on sale in China, this week.

Both of these handsets are targeted on the mid-ranged market. Both of these phones feature decent specifications in a fair price range. Moreover, these phones will be the first handsets by Samsung to feature a front-facing LED flash, for capturing vibrant selfies even in low-lighting conditions. The Galaxy J7 will be available at a slightly higher price as compared to the Galaxy J5.

Galaxy J7

In terms of specifications, the Galaxy J7 features a Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, whereas, the Galaxy J5 is equipped with Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor. The Galaxy J5 features a 5-inch HD display at 720p, while, the Galaxy J7 boasts a 5.5-inch full HD display. Both of the phones feature a 13-Megapixel primary camera, and a 5-Megapixel front camera.

In the Chinese market, the Galaxy J7 is priced at 1,798 CNY and the Galaxy J5 is priced at 1,398 CNY, which is approximately equal to $290 and $225 in the US Dollars, respectively.
