Apple is a tech company that leads the industry with its innovation and farsightedness. But that did not spare it from the pot shots taken by its smartphone rivals. After the September iPhone event where the company unveiled the newest iPhone and the iPad pro along with the apple TV, Samsung and Sony have taken to twitter to express their views on the apple pencil and the paltry battery life of the new iPhone respectively.
Samsung on its part has accused apple of stealing its s-pen design and implementing it in their apple pencils with a little make up. The apple pencil on its part cost $99 and will be compatible with the iPad pro. The apple pencil features built in sensors and a small battery with help of which, apple makes possible to write on the iPad pro multi touch display. It will also enable to make long strokes with darker shades when pressed deeply and the built in accelerometer will know when the apple pencil is in a tilted position and make broader strokes. Samsung point out that apple didn’t want to use any kind of stylus in the past and it was the note series that made the stylus relevant with the innovation of the s-pen.

Sony too doesn’t want to stay far behind considering that their smartphones have the one of the best battery life in the industry. Sony on its part, mocks apple with the following picture where it suggest user to switch to xperia z5 phones that have 2 day battery life. The newest iPhone 6s from apple have a dismal battery capacity of 1715mah down from last year’s 1810mah and the new iPhone 6s plus has a battery of 2750mah changed from last year’s 2910mah. The iPhone have one of the worst battery life in any smartphone and though the phones are beautiful, the iphones have to be recharged frequently to keep them alive.
