Samsung pay is finally coming to Verizon


Samsung has launched its uber hyped Samsung pay mobile payment system a couple of days ago. All the major carriers have given their nod to the Samsung pay except Verizon. Verizon has cited the following reason on its official statement.

“Verizon is in the process of evaluating Samsung Pay and we’ll keep our customers updated on any news regarding the service.”

Behind the screen talk is that Verizon already has a mobile payment system that it recently sold off to google. It also plans to fully support the android pay payment system that will launch soon. Now Samsung has requested the Verizon officials to support its own Samsung pay and that has put Verizon is a tough spot. Now it’s finally in the open that Verizon will soon support Samsung pay in a week and that the payment service is in the last stage of negotiation. Verizon doesn’t want to miss the bus on the mobile payment system that all the major carriers are supporting and lose any more consumers than it already has.



Launched in the united states on sept 28th, Samsung pay is already proving to be a hit among smartphone user for its simplicity and ease of use that will allow you to make a financial transaction virtually anywhere. It made transactions worthy of $30 million in south Korea recently in a span of one month.
