Samsung recently filed for Gear W and Wheel UX trademarks. The Wheel UX is most likely trademarked for the user interface of the Samsung’s next circular smartwatch. Gear W seems like just another wearable in the Samsung Gear series.
Samsung is planning to introduce a completely new circular designed smartwatch Gear A in the near future. It is also rumored that Gear A will have user interface similar to Apple Watch.
Samsung Gear A will have special hardware dialers which will do additional functions.
