Samsung Pay Trial Service Now Available in Korea


Samsung’s mobile payment service Samsung Pay has finally been launched in Korea on a trial basis and it won’t be long before it will be launched for everyone around the world. That is why in preparation for the full roll out the South Korean giant has launched the Samsung Pay trial with Samsung Card for selected customers in Korea.

The first to have the access to Samsung Pay were the users of the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. The payment service will be accepted in more stores than any other mobile payment service in Korea. Samsung Pay is the first and only mobile payment service that works with both near field communication NFC and card readers with magnetic secure transmission (MST) technologies. This basically means that the payment service is already compatible with most retail locations point of sale terminals.

Now adding cards on Samsung Pay is very easy and making purchases is even easier. Moreover the users can feel secure that their card information is safe with the help of tokenization technology. Samsung Pay will deliver the users a faster and an easier shopping experience.

When the time to make the payment arrives users just need to launch the app and hold their Samsung device near the credit card terminal and authorize it with the touch of their finger. So there will be no longer any need to carry wallets thanks to Samsung’s new mobile payment service.
