The Avengers: Age of Ultron was a huge hot at the box office. Now what was interesting to see were the high-tech devices that the Avengers used as they battled Ultron both in face-to-face combat and in the cyber world.
The Avengers we have seen are very well equipped when it comes to communication devices and this includes high-tech watches, a smart device that we Tony Stark use and Bluetooth ear pieces.
These devices that we saw in the movie were basically developed due to a close collaboration between the film producers and Samsung’s Top Secret Hero Testing Lab which is also known as the design team at Samsung Electronics.
The challenge that this team faced was that they had to come up with devices that effectively reflected the dynamic and futuristic theme of the movie along with being credible as advanced communication links that the superheroes can use even in a battle.
The smart device that Tony Stark has used in the movie consisted of a frame that holds a clear, see through display which can be removed and used on its own. Apart from working like any normal smart device it could also upload holographic images, detect motion and transfer large amounts of data.
Moreover the device also had a fingerprint sensor on the bottom right of the clear display which provided the device with extra security.
The watches that were worn by the rest of the superheroes were interactive devices that allowed the team members to contact each other easily.
Each watch had sensors that were monitoring the wearer’s heart rate, body temperature ad mental state in real time. The watches even had voice command capabilities.
This collaboration by Samsung with Marvel Studios has given the company a very brilliant opportunity to create designs for its future devices.
