Samsung released the Z1 earlier this year, running on the Tizen OS. Samsung is looking forward to populate the low-end smartphone market with smartphones running on the Tizen OS for offering users with customizability and usability in budget prices. Samsung has planned to release more phones running on the Tizen OS by the end of this year.

The Tizen OS is gaining a lot of popularity in relatively underdeveloped countries, such as Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, etc. for low-end buyers, who want a fully functional smartphone at a reasonable price. Thus, Samsung is planning to release more smartphones powered by the Tizen OS to break the users off from the spell of Android.

Samsung will be releasing a mid-end smartphone powered by the Tizen OS – Samsung Z3. Recently, a Korean website has leaked some pictures of the Samsung Z3. According to these leaked pictures, the Samsung Z3 will be running on Tizen 3.0 OS. Despite the rumors that the Z3 will be running on Tizen OS 2.4 out of the box, an update to version 3.0 might be released shortly after the launch of the Samsung Z3.

Moreover, according to the pictures, the display size of the Samsung Z3 is significantly larger than the display of Samsung Z1. It is expected that the Samsung Z3 will be featuring a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with 720p resolution.

The Samsung Z3 is expected to be announced in India at the end of July. After the release of the Samsung Z3 in India, the Z3 will be released worldwide.
