Samsung is on top of the smartphone game in India. The real reason behind its strong sales in the Indian sub-continent is the affordable price tag going along with a reputable brand name. As a part of the sales growth strategy, Samsung has been introducing several low-end and mid-range smartphones in India. one such phone is the freshly introduced Galaxy J3 ⑥.
Galaxy J3 ⑥ has been available in china from last year and also in the united states through boost and virgin network carrier. This handset is almost the same but Samsung has tweaked it in little ways to suit Indian market better.
The core specifications are a 5-inch super AMOLED display with HD resolution. 1.5 GHz 4 core processor coupled with 8 GB of internal storage and 1.5 GB of RAM. The operating system is the Android 5.1 lollipop with TouchWiz on top.
There is an external memory card slot and the phone can fit 2 sim card at any given point of time. An 8 MP shooter in the back and a 5 MP selfie camera for photos and video calls. 4G LTE is supported on this mobile and the battery is at 2,600 mAh. The phone is entirely made out of plastic even if it looks like it has a metal body. The price tag is Rs. 8.990 ($135).
To differentiate the phone from others under the stable, Samsung is introducing something called as a bike mode. This feature allows the user to reply to calls and messages while driving a bike. This can be done through an NFC tag that latches onto the bike. Just press the button to enter or exit the mode. Samsung will provide the NFC tag in the retail unit.
