The tech world can’t seem to get enough of the Samsung’s newest mobile payment service, Samsung pay. Almost every day new features are launched on this service. The latest feature to be added to the Samsung pay’s arsenal is the support for gift cards.
Yes, the same gift cards from staples and GameStop now come in a digital avatar. This service is exclusive to Samsung pay. People are sure to receive many gift cards from their friends and loved ones this holiday season or have a few lying around. Now they can load up the same card into Samsung pay app and buy the require good from the retails store. When the payment step arrives, simply swipe up from the home screen and select the appropriate gift card to make the payment.
There are about 50 retail partners who now support digital gift cards with more retailers coming on-board soon. What more, Samsung also has a digital Samsung pay store where you can buy a gift card and send it to your loved ones.
