Good news for 4k lovers. Samsung has a 128 GB higher capacity memory card in its pro plus series of SD cards that will help you in recording and snapping 4k content without any hiccup. Today’s phones have 4k video capability and transferring a couple of HD videos will top your phone’s memory capacity.
If your phone has a SD card slot, then you might be in for a treat. Most manufactures pump out 128 GB cards but the pro plus series is known for its high rate of data transfer and higher storage capacities suitable for professional use. The SD card can work with DSLR cameras and high end phones such as the Xperia Z5 for 4k recording and high resolution audio that requires high data transfer speeds.
Samsung touts that the SD cards in the pro plus series are the best SD cards that are available and the 128 GB one can handle higher quality data files when compared to the 32 GB and 64 GB cards in the same series thanks to a technology called as MLC NAND flash memory. The data speeds are 95MB/s and 90MB/s for read and write respectively.
Samsung also explained the greatness of this card for non-technical people in numerical format. The 128 GB SD card can hold up to 16.2 hours of full HD video, 3.5 hours of 4k UHD video, more than 30,000 mp3 songs and 11,000 images. All this for a price of $200.
