The rumors that the Samsung Galaxy S6 will be getting an Avengers theme are actually true. Samsung is now considering launching Avengers based versions of its smartphones, the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge.
Apart from this Samsung has also confirmed that Iron Man versions of both the Galaxy S6 models will be introduced pretty soon, that could be most probably next month.
The Samsung head of marketing for the mobile division Lee Young-hee stated that the color of this new Iron Man version will be red just like the Iron Man himself. Moreover the other details will be released soon after discussions with Marvel Studio.
He also revealed that this new themed Galaxy S6 will be launched by the end of May or early June. An early report after the two phones were launched in early March stated that the South Korean company might be planning to release such special version based on Avengers characters.
So this decision by Samsung does not take anyone by surprise especially after the company and Marvel linked a global marketing partnership last year. Moreover Samsung’s special trailer versions for Avengers: Age of Ultron revealed that the movie will be using numerous Samsung products.
However it is still not clear in what markets the special Iron Man Galaxy S6 models will launch in in initially but the Galaxy S6 family is selling pretty well. The company has revealed previously that sales are very high and the company is facing supply shortages.
