Many of you would know that Samsung had been working on the successor to the Galaxy Tab S. So here it is the company has announced that it will be introducing the Galaxy Tab S2.
The Galaxy Tab S2 will be thinner than the Apple iPad Air and will also feature a screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio. Apart from this the latest information about the Galaxy Tab S2 is that the company will be introducing 4 different variants of the tablet.
There is going to be a Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + LTE variants of the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 and the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0. Moreover all these variants will be launched together in June just like the original Galaxy Tab S. According to the company these tablets are going to be released throughout the world including the US, Canada, China, Latin America, Europe, Korea and India.
The Galaxy Tab S2 is said to have premium material on the outside and is also expected to feature the latest 64 bit Exynos processor. Apart from this there is going to be a 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM, a microSD card slot and will come along with the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop.
The new tab will also feature a Super AMOLED display which will have a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, an 8 megapixel primary camera and a 2.1 megapixel secondary camera. Apart from this the Galaxy Tab S2’s 8 inch model and will have the dimensions of 198.2 x 134.5 x 5.4 mm and the 9.7 inch model will come along at 237.1 x 168.8 x 5.4 mm.
