Finally T-Mobile has launched the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime and it comes along with a surprise. T-Mobile has launched the device with Advanced Messaging features and this is the first device that the carrier has that supports the Advanced Messaging features.
These new features from the carrier are basically based on the Rich Communications Services (RCS) standards with quite significant improvements such as improving the text messaging experience on smartphones.
T-Mobile has the Galaxy Grand Prime up for sale at $189.99 or you can also buy it on 23 equal monthly installments of $7.92 and $7.83 for the 24th month.
Well many of us know that text messaging is not that popular anymore as it once used to be mostly due to the increased use of instant messaging applications.
These instant messaging applications are even capable of running on the lowest of low end smartphones and even feature phones.
That is why when applications such as Whatsapp, Viber, Skype and Snapchat are available to the masses not many people are going to pay attention to the text messaging apps from wireless carriers.
However T-Mobile has taken an initiative and is ready to change this trend with Advanced Messaging which basically brings people near real time chat, group messaging and rich 1 on 1.
Along with this it also has the ability to share high resolution photos and videos of up to 10MB within text messages.
