Last Thursday we explained that the South Korean technology giant wants to get Apple iPhones users to switch to a Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Samsung Galaxy S6 edge or as Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+.

So Samsung is providing any US resident 18 or older with an iPhone hooked up to an active wireless account to go to SamsungPromotions.com and get themselves a test drive of one of the three aforementioned smartphones for a price of just $1.

Samsung will send the smartphone with an activated SIM card and even a guide who will help those test driving one of the devices learn how to use the device.

Now this offer by Samsung may have tempted a lot of iPhone users because the South Korean giant stated that it is temporarily out of test drive phones.

So if any of you is an Apple iPhone user who wants to experience the Samsung devices than you should keep checking in with Samsung’s website to see if more test drive smartphones have been made available.

Users will be given a five day grace period after the 30 days expire to return the test drive device. According to Samsung if the device comes back with just minor scratches than there won’t be any problem.

However if the device comes back with a major issue such as a cracked screen or water damage then the user will be liable to pay a $100 penalty.

Now if due to some reason the device doesn’t turn on then the user is liable to pay $700 for the Galaxy Note 5, $775 for the Galaxy S6 Edge+ and $825 for the Galaxy S6 Edge.

It seems that the new offer by Samsung for the Apple iPhone users has worked as Samsung has stated that it is temporarily out of smartphones to give out to the users for test drive. For just $1 any US citizen that is 18 or plus with an iPhone device and an activated SIM card could get a Samsung device for test drive.

The devices included in this promotion include the Galaxy Note 5, the Galaxy S6 Edge and the Galaxy S6 Edge+. Up till now there is no word on when the smartphones will be available but users should keep checking out.

Apple had been successful in winning over former iPhone users who had switched to Android since the launch of the Apple iPhone 6 and Apple iPhone 6 Plus.

This was because Apple had raised the screen size of the iPhone 6 to 4.7 inches from the 4 inch display used on the Apple iPhone 5s and Apple iPhone 5c. Apart from this Apple also added a 5. Inch phablet to its line, the iPhone 6 Plus.
