Samsung Pay could be launched in South Africa later this month, alongside with the Galaxy Note 8, which will be launched at the same date in the country.
It still remains unclear what the banks and the other credit unions will be supported for the payment feature. But what we know for sure is that the customers will start using this feature from its release.
The using of the Samsung Pay feature will be easy. As soon as the users link their PayPal account to Samsung Pay, they will be able to spend their money. They will also earn reward points for every transaction made.
As we have said before, Samsung Pay will be compatible with several Galaxy-brand devices. These include the Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S6, Galaxy J7 Pro and Galaxy J7 (2016). The smartphone support for the app is spreading each and every day.
The release date of the Note 8 in South Africa is also coming closer, so if you are interested for it, you can already make a pre-order.
