Samsung was labelled a copycat for producing devices and services that were directly taken from its arch rival, apple. With the passing of time, Samsung has realised that it wasn’t generating the anticipated profits or the excitement among users and for the same reason it started innovating its phone like crazy. Not everything is perfect but the edge screen or the new s-pen are mightily impressive. While on the other hand, HTC, the first OEM to manufacture the android phone has fallen into hard times. So much that it has produced a phone that unmistakably resemble the iPhone with a hope that it will reinvigorate the company’s grown engine.

The phone in question is the newly released HTC one A9. The design perspective is identical to the iPhone but this one houses a bigger 5-inch display. HTC is also one of the first partners of google to release this phone with the latest android marshmallow 6.0. The Full metal body design is beautiful like the HTC’s own One M9. It has a protruding camera lens and a home button that has an integrated fingerprint sensor. The popular blink feed makes an appearance and HTC has layered the one a9 with its sense UI.

The rear camera is a 13 MP shooter that can take raw images and can also process those images within the phone’s software eliminating the need of a computer. The front has the same 4 ultra-pixel camera that was in the HTC One M7. It is powered by the snapdragon 617 which is not a top of the line but still a capable processor. Coupled with 16 GB memory is a 2150mah battery that is a bit disappointing. The phone is out for $399 until nov 7th after which you will have to shell out $499.

HTC official have clarified when questioned about the similarity between their phone and the iPhone that it was apple who stole the uni-body metal design from its HTC m8 into their iPhone 6.
