Samsung is one of the exciting android manufacturers with fantastic phones such as the galaxy s6 edge and the note 5. But what people do not know is that it also makes some interesting apps like the s-health and smart camera.
A trusted insider has now informed that Samsung is planning to bring most of its apps to the iOS devices. This will essentially do two things. First is that, it will allow Samsung to infiltrate the iOS mobile operating system and second is that it can increase its own revenue through hardware and software sales.
Samsung is also planning to release the gear s2 for iOS. If this materialized, then Apple watch may have a hard time getting onto the wrists of consumers.
The apps portfolio is an extensive one for Samsung. It might not be able to bring all of its apps but most of them are being prepared for the second most popular mobile operating system in the world.
Some of the applications are the S-Health app that tracks various health parameters of an individual. There is also the gear fit manager that will help the gear fit devices to work with an iPhone.
Remember Samsung’s monstrous tablet called as The Galaxy View. This device also gains the support for the iPhone via remote control and family square apps. That will enable you to cast your content from the handheld devices to the big screen of the Galaxy View.
Samsung has a line of premium headphones called as level audio. Now the Korean tech company will also get the level’s companion apps to the iOS. these apps can be used to control the audio and its quality on the headphones.
Some other apps include the camera and productivity applications.
It wouldn’t be very surprising if Samsung makes the iPhone compatible with its own internet of things(IoT), the SmartThings. If that happens, Samsung could generate huge amount of revenues from the sale of the SmartThings compatible appliances.
