India is country where the 2g network reign supremacy and has been slow in embracing the 3g networks. But that hasn’t stopped Samsung from launching the 4g enabled galaxy j2 into the domestic market. It know the fact that the Indian consumers and the network providers will switch to the 4g network standards sooner than later and Samsung want to be ready for that.
With that view in mind, they have launched the galaxy j2 with a low price tag of about Rs 8500 which is equalent to $130.
“The Galaxy J2 is an affordable 4G handset which has, for the first time, an ultra-data saving mode. This is the first handset from Samsung with the new data saving facility developed in India,” Samsung India director mobile business Manu Sharma said.
“We feel India is ready for 4G. It is our focus and is critical for Samsung,” he added.
Samsung is a reputed brand name in India and is the market leader in terms of smartphone sales. It intends to keep the smartphone leader tag and will use all its resources at disposal in that attempt. The galaxy j2 is just the start of the journey for Samsung.
