When the latest Android OS came out several months ago, it was predicted that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Note 3, Galaxy S4, Galaxy S5, Note 4 and Note Edge will receive the Android L update.
Most of the devices out of the above mentioned devices have received the update from Samsung. Now it seems like the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will not be getting the Android L update.
The device is almost 2 years old and the hardware might not be right for the Android L update. There haven’t been any Lollipop builds for the Galaxy Note 2 on the Samsung servers.
This suggests that this Samsung device will not in fact receive the update. The official page of Samsung Gulf on Facebook clarified that there would be no Lollipop update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
This was after a user posted a question on their page asking about the Android L update for their phone.
